Welcome to our Biodanza School

Open to anyone longing to expand their Biodanza practice or become a certified Biodanza facilitator.

We’re excited to announce the upcoming opening of a Biodanza School in the San Francisco Bay Area — a dedicated space for embodied transformation, connection, and human development.

This school will offer a 3 year training program that meets one weekend per month, designed for those who wish to deepen their personal growth through Biodanza and for those called to become certified Biodanza facilitators.

Participating in the Biodanza Facilitator Training

People join the Biodanza Facilitator Training for many different reasons. For some, the aspiration to become a facilitator is present from the very beginning and serves as their main motivation. Others are drawn to the program by a desire to deepen their understanding of the theoretical and experiential foundations that give meaning and structure to Biodanza.

Many participants simply feel called to be part of a committed group that, over three years, journeys together through a profound process of growth, connection, and transformation. And for some, the wish to facilitate arises naturally along the way.

Whatever brings each person to the training, the path is shared by all. Through this process, vocations often unfold or are confirmed. At the San Francisco School of Biodanza our intention is to accompany each participant in an integrative journey that honors their rhythm, respects their individuality, and supports their unfolding potential.

The Journey of Becoming a Biodanza Facilitator

Throughout the training, apprentices are invited into a deep exploration of life and the essence of living. Guided by a rich and dynamic group process—and grounded in experiential learning—they develop both the theoretical understanding and practical skills essential to the art and profession of facilitating Biodanza.

Choosing to become a Biodanza facilitator is an invitation to enter a profound process of personal transformation. Over the course of three years, participants are immersed in a space where relationships become a living field of exploration and our vivencias—our lived experiences—become the fertile ground where our authentic identity can take root and blossom.

Each person arrives with their own wisdom, experiences, and story. Within the training community, we offer these to one another in service of mutual growth and discovery. Together, we create a safe and vibrant environment that supports the development of each individual and of the group as a whole.

Ultimately, facilitator training in Biodanza is both a comprehensive educational journey and a path of transformation—one in which we learn not only how to facilitate, but also how to live more fully, consciously, and connectedly.

Guidance from a Diverse Teaching Team

During the training, participants have the opportunity to learn from a variety of didactas (teacher trainers), each bringing their own unique experience, style, and perspective to the learning process. Our school welcomes at least five different didactas each year, offering students a rich and multifaceted approach to Biodanza.

Come dance into your full potential.
Let’s co-create something beautiful together.
